It runs on low resources and doesn't seem to slow the operating system at all, regardless if we are talking about Windows XP, Vista or 7. Plus, it doesn't leave any traces in the Windows registry. The advantages of being portableĪnother good thing about the program is that it's fully portable, which means you can easily copy its files on a USB removable drive and use it on the go, without the need for prior installation. Letting you choose between a stopwatch and countdown, OnlyStopWatch provides no help section, but everything's pretty easy to use, which should make it appropriate for all types of users. While you can also control the time using predefined keyboard shortcuts, the “Program” drop-down menu enables you to show milliseconds and the hour, start the timer at program startup and continue or pause the countdown with a single mouse click. The interface is nothing special, but it's focused especially on the time, showing a chronometer with milliseconds and a few options at the top of the window. The main window of this application is kept simple, making it highly accessible for a broad range of users, regardless of their PC skills or previous experience with similar programs.
